Managing Director

The role

As Managing Director, you have overall responsibility for the performance and development of Peikko Sweden. The emphasis of the role is commercial: growing sales, strengthening customer relationships and developing the organization. You report to the Area Director, Peikko Scandinavia.

Your key responsibilities:

• Setting the direction for the Swedish business and turning it into results, aligned with Peikko Group objectives.
• Leading sales growth and market development and taking an active personal role with key customers.
• Leading, developing and inspiring the Swedish team.
• Ensuring the profitability, operational performance and compliance of the company.
• Steering pricing, product mix and market positioning based on customer and market needs.
• Working closely with Group functions and Nordic colleagues to achieve shared targets.

What we are looking for

• Proven leadership experience as a managing director, business unit leader, sales director or in an equivalent role.
• A strong track record of growing business and building long-term customer relationships in the Swedish construction market.
• Experience in construction, precast concrete, building materials, industrial solutions or another related technical field.
• A university degree in engineering, construction, business management or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in Swedish and English.
• The ability to see the big picture, combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
